Concurrent Strength Training & Running 2015: Eight-Week Workout Cycle III

Any suggestions? I thought about this, but wasn't sure that I know enough about each exercise to know what qualities to look for with each one.
Not really, I only investigated shorty bars. I just know there are differences. I think Rogue and Elitefts and other places have explanations. That one site I linked to a while back about rubber matting also has a section on bars: http://www.garage-gyms.com/vulcan-elite-3-0-olympic-weightlifting-training-bar-review/
Maybe this?

I stopped by that local gym, filled out their injury waiver with my contact info. They seem busy. I've been trying get a response to get scheduled for training. I left msgs and sent an email. I'm going to head back on Mon, to pay for and schedule a few sessions.

Maybe I'll wait and see if they have any thoughts, before I buy any bars. I still need to clear out the spare bedroom and get the power rack anyway.
Yah, they'd be a good bet for advice. Maybe buy one bar at first, since how you like it, which lift it feels best on, and go from there?

Happy hunting!
