Barefoot Hike in Cantwell Cliffs

Fellow BRS member Lee Parker and I had a nice hike in Cantwell Cliffs (part of Hocking Hills) on Labor Day.

Yes. Here comes here regularly for a Flint-knapping Festival. The first time we hiked was two years ago:

That was only about a mile, but it was on flint.

That's good to know. That flint can be really slippery when it's wet.

Nice! To be honest I've yet to be back to Hocking Hills since going barefoot a couple years ago. One of these days I should go back down there...

Thanks lp, perhaps I might. I always worried about the toughness of my feet on the trail, but after my mountain trip this summer I think I'm confident to try just about anything now. Well I still hate gravel and not good with cold, but other than that.
