So, today was my last long run of what one might call training season. The next 3 weeks are packed full of fun and excitement. This thursday evening is a local 5k, should be small enough that I might end up with some hardware. Then Saturday is a 10 mile race in Dewey Beach. It's a great course through 2 beach communities including a boardwalk. The following weekend, Sept. 19th is the Philly RocknRoll 1/2 marathon, it'll be my second BF 1/2. The Saturday after is the Dogfish Head Brewery 10k, I may be suffering through this one but with plenty of free Dogfish beers waiting, it'll all be worth it and quite a way to end about 33 miles of racing in less than a month.
October will be all about rest and recovery.
