    Fellowship of the Morton's Toe

I have heard that the newer Vivobarefoot models are narrower than the older ones. I have: Evo3 Neo Trail Breatho Trail Gobi Dharma and in all of them I can wear Correct Toes. Your story seems very similar to mine, I don't know if you have read it. My problems started April 2013,and...

    Fellowship of the Morton's Toe

Correct toes and rest from running is what sorted me out. Still get hard pads on 2nd toe though.

    Morton's Neuroma?

Now up to 6 miles barefoot, and I managed to do 7.8 miles in xero shoes (I thought it was 6 miles, got it wrong). Wore the xero shoes as it was a new route. Still doing great. Thanks for all the help and support.

    Morton's Neuroma?

well, a few weeks ago (early April) went for my follow up appointment with a south african National Health Service podiatrist. She asked me how the orthotic insoles had been, I told her I hadn't used them and it had gone away all by itself. I didn't tell her about the Correct Toes, and how I...

    Morton's Neuroma?

Went to the Podiatrist (free, National Health Service). Apparently I "need" to wear supportive shoes with a stiff sole and arch support. She watched me walk up and down a few times, prodded my foot and then gave me an insole with a lump inside it. As soon as I got out I removed it...

    Morton's Neuroma?

Since I originally posted this, it has calmed down a lot. Now it feels like a very slight sensation in the right foot, and occasionally both feet start to tingle in a pulsing way (on, then off, then on, then off). I have worn the Correct Toes since I got them yesterday, and today I wore them...

    Morton's Neuroma?

Just ordered the "correct toes". I have heard many many good things about them. Haven't run since mid September, and have a NHS (free medical care) podiatrist appt in mid January (2 weeks today), I really don't want some "specialist" saying "oh you need these £400 inserts...." . will let...

    Morton's Neuroma?

Hi, I went to the doctors on Monday who confirmed it was MN. I have ordered a gel toe separator. I will also stop wearing those tight fitting high heels (joke!). I have only worn Vivobarefoot and xero shoes for the past 11 months, and spent a lot of the summer totally barefoot. Thanks...

    Morton's Neuroma?

Hi TJ, funnily enough, I had just signed up to MN forum before I read this!!!! I do get tingling, it "pulses" every 2 or so seconds. Symptoms just when walking. Not 24/7 but just aware that something in my foot has changed. I did a half marathon 2 weeks ago, 6 miles barefoot, 7 miles in...

    Morton's Neuroma?

Hi, I have been minimalist running since November 2012, and barefoot since June 2013 (maximum of 6 miles totally barefoot). Took it very slowly, and built up gradually. Also spent most of the summer weekends totally barefoot, and I wear minimalist shoes at work. Approx 4 weeks ago I did a 10...

    Fellowship of the Morton's Toe

I think I have MT too. I seem to pass the "bend the joints" test. Look at my profile pic to the left. I have run 1.3 miles barefoot, and I have had the pain on the 2nd toe, at the end. The toe curls and the nail nearly touches the ground. What else do I need to do?

I have found a guy 6 miles away who I have seen out running barefoot, and two other local guys and will meet them on Sunday morning for a 4 mile trail run.
