    I ran two marathons last spring and struggled the last couple of miles to run a 4:40 and a 4:24. During a hundred do you walk alot similar to the Galloway method? I was thinking of nicluding some waling on my next marathon what is your opinion of that Jason?

    Animal Encounters

    My wife back in May was attacked by a wild turkey. He had ner running in a circle to get away from him, And a passerby had to scare the turkey away with his bike. Shes not a fan of seeing Turkeys on her run too much anymore. :)

    Had a great time in Boston and it was a pleasure to meet you and your husband, Theresa. I Especially enjoyed soaking my tired feet in the ice cool creek after the race. Your an inspiration to me and other barefooters.

    Hello from New Jersey

    This trail in Brendon T. State forest is very barefoot friendly and so are the fellow runners so i'd definetly recommend a visit. Just saying from experience.

    People's reactions when you run

    Most people won't make eye contact, especially if they are with children. Some people yell out ouch or doesn't that hurt. One woman actually just said hi Barefoot Runner, that was my favorite.

    I had glass in my heal for two weeks once and it didn't hinder my love of running unshod. A little duct tape finally remedied that issue.

    Nice Pat, I'm 180lbs and under for the first time in 15 years since i joined the running people and now i'm free of knee pain and shin splints since december 2011 from running bare. Glad to hear of your success!
