EDIT: I just found a minute to reseach pricing on these stickers, and so far, the best pricing I am finding on (for example) the top two stickers at 6" width x 4" height in UV outdoor/indoor vinyl is .69. I'll probably only charge .50 plus on top of the .69 the cost of a stamp. That's very affordable. Who wants to order some?

Mrs. Zap, per my request, created some stickers for us that I plan to have available for purchase soon, when I can find the time to research them more. The top oval ones are pretty typical, EXCEPT for the toes I asked her to add. Then she came up with the next two and got clever and made each set right foot, left foot! Is she the coolest or what?! Check them out below. Of course, they will be printed much larger than this, the usual size you see out there on people's cars. (Note: The black background is actually transparent once it is printed.)

I like the bottom ones

I like the bottom ones better. I'll order one of each of the bottom ones once you have them. I've got a half coming up in Feb, and a full in April.

Have have run a few marathons

Have have run a few marathons barefoot, but I don't have a car.

Ditto.  Soon as y'all have

Ditto. Soon as y'all have em, I'll buy a couple of each. If they can do 5K, 10K and 15K, I'd probably take them as well...

I'm also a fan of the bottom

I'm also a fan of the bottom one. After i paint on a blister on the middle toe and add a little grub where appropriate, perfection!

The bottom ones clearly

The bottom ones clearly represent a bare foot. The top ones are cute, but it's hard to tell what those dots on the side represent. I'd perfer that the toes on the bottom image were more round, like the top image, otherwise they might be mistaken for bear claws. I'm not sure if a bear can run a Marathon.

The oval sticker is the

The oval sticker is the standard used on distance running stickers. A unique touch, the toes make them stand out from the standard sticker though.

My friend Scott has an oval sticker that reads 134.8. Simply stated. Very cool and something only runners would understand.

When we get enough interest,

When we get enough interest, I will place an order. I have to order at least 100. I will at least place an order way before reaching that number though.

Its funny, at the Hottest

Its funny, at the Hottest Half I had mentioned to Talon and Pilot that I was thinking abouy making some footprint mileage stickers. Pilot then told me that TJ had already made one over here. I believe my exact reply was "Damn TJ... She thinks of everything!" lol!

Are there plans for additional distances? Ie 5k, 10k, 50k, other ultras? Maybe Tri distances as well?

Count me in for a couple 13.1

Count me in for a couple 13.1 (bottom style) these are great!

Ha!  The stickers might have

Ha! The stickers might have been my idea, but Mrs. Zap (Zapmamak) is the one with the talent who actually created the artwork for us. She's great and very generous to us with her talents, since she does other graphics work for us too, so everyone, be sure to give her big thanks. Show some love!

Looks like the bottom two (which was Zap's design) are the favorites, so if we get enough interest, we can order those. As far as other distances, do we have enough interest for those? Maybe we can create a poll to find out. Let me think on this. Would we make the stickers read 5K or 3.11, for example?

Ha!

Ha!

I've only been running races

I've only been running races for two years, but I already have three shirts that have bare feet prints as part of the logo.

None of them had anything to do with barefoot running

My guess is that running drivers seeing the stickers will just think they refer to the marathon and half and won't really associate the feet with a barefoot run.

I'm wondering if we can come up with a logo including footprints that clearly indicates "barefoot runner" , regardless of distance. Easy for me to ask for, after all, I'm just a 5Ker.

But seriously, if we were to focus group what the stickers meant, I think the people that realize it's about a run will still be oblivious to the barefoot nature of it.

I disagree kind sir.  I think

I disagree kind sir. I think runners, barefoot and shoddie, will know immediately what it stands for. Everyone (okay, runners) has seen the typical oval distance sticker, so adding the toes indicates something "above and beyond." (Yes, I went there!) And I would wager that most people who don't run don't even know what the standard oval distance sticker means anyway.

Now, if you just must have a logo, what about the BRS's logo? ;-) Or at least the footsie?

Yeah, TWO different people told me they thought it was a radio station.
