the true, genuine barefoot feeling with cut protection

The Swiss Protection Sock has been designed for people who like to walk barefoot but do not want to get any cut wounds that are difficult to heal and prone to infection. It is made of knitted material with a welded polyester bobble sole. The Swiss Protection Sock is cut-resistant and suitable for all outdoor 'soft grounds' like the wood, field, grassland, beaches, gardens, meadows, swimming, kiteboarding, surfing, diving, all water sports. By using special knitting that protects against cuts, users of the Swiss Protection Sock can largely protect themselves against the risk of being accidentally injured on sharp objects on the ground such as fragments of glass, corals or bits of metal.

technical details

The Swiss Protection Sock is knitted from a combination of DuPont™ Kevlar® / 50%, polyester / 32%, Spandex / 8% and cotton / 10%. The sole reinforcement consists of eco-friendly PVC laminated onto the sole. Kevlar® threads are always yellow for production reasons and are difficult to dye. Consequently, variations in design can be realised in the upper part.

use

Initially, some skill is required to push the individual toes, starting with the big toe, into their section; for anatomical reasons, this applies in particular to the small toe. The design has been created in such a way that the SPS does, however, fit most feet. After use, specifically also in salt water, the SPS should be washed in cold water with soap or a mild detergent.

the Swiss Protection Sock is suitable for

- Outdoor on soft ground
- Track across the fields, sandy paths, forest paths, sandy beach, gardens - Water sports, board sports, swimming - protecting from cuts caused by shells, corals, stones

the Swiss Protection Sock is not suitable for

- tarmac roads, paths with sharp obstacles, rocky paths to a limited extent
- Water sports where there are sea urchins (not sting-proof)
- As no sole, not suitable as footwear for lengthy walking and hiking with abrasive movement
- For reasons of liability law, we request that you comply with this specification
- Not suitable for Surf- or Windsurf- Boards with rough “sanded “ surface with abrasion like asphalt
