she told me hard surfaces are bad for barefoot running and only beaches are good, that puts too much pression on ankles, knees etc

i mean how dissapointing, a veteran teacher of gymnastics, a sport thats practiced barefoot
such ignorance

p.d. she also told that the fact tha i ran 150km without any problem it was because i was very lucky and that i needed some shoes like nike air because otherwise the knees, ankles suffers (wtf??)

noonon i forgot important thing

she said also the cities are very contaminated and can cause infections, and even mentioned i could have an infection right now for running days ago

contaminated of what? the only possible i think would be cut and step on a poo

feet are prepared are well designed they are very resistent

stepping in human feces contaminated by some thing causes infection, skin contact, but thats very difficult and tend to be on third world countries

did you educate her or keep your mouth shut?

if you get stuck on what to say ask those people if they've ever played with a superball. if so ask them did it bounce more on the pavement or dirt. then tell them the body is a giant spring and acts just like the superball. if they don't get that feeling it's because they're running wrong.

i reply that scientists say barefoot running is best etc that is the contrary knees hurt more with shoes blabla but like a chasing after wind after told her that she still tell again that is bad for ankles knees i mean its difficult to reasonate with many people haha

ok

I suppose the gym teacher is simply not aware that barefoot runners run on their fore-or mid foot. If for herself running necessarily equals heel striking, well she's not wrong: heel striking does cause ankle and knee problems - with or without shoes.

nono hobbit, she said running with shoes such as nike air are best and running barefoot is bad for knees, ankles etc

and thats the thing heel striking and modern shoes go together whilst barefoot running avoid it isnt it?

Gymnastics and running are two very different activities. Gymnastics is done barefoot specifically for better balance and grip (for floor exercises, beam work, etc). "Modern" running, however tends towards the heel striking, pushing off and heavy landings encouraged by the padded footwear. It's very likely your teacher is under the same impression that many others are - that running (using a modern, heel-striking form) will cause damage to your knees, ankles and feet without the padded shoes.

As for their concern about potential infections - that's a risk you can mitigate by being careful where you step and ensuring that you properly clean and treat any nicks, cuts or abrasions to your feet as soon as you can. Also, making sure your Tetanus shots are current probably wouldn't hurt either...

yes Kyrrinstoch, but isnt gymnastics do big jumps etc that should put a lot of pressure in knees and ankles? but for her thats normal, she doesnt tell gymnast to use nike air hahaha

yes

i dont think its so risky, i mean feet are adapted well, modern things like cristals that didnt exist are dangerous and nails etc i agree with you to be careful in some areas

i prefer to not take that shit

Ingredients:
sodium phosphate, peptone, bovine extract (U.S. sourced), formaldehyde,
ammonium sulfate, , aluminum potassium sulfate, thimerosal (trace),
gelatin, polysorbate 80 (Tween 80), modified Mueller and Miller medium,
modified Stainer-Scholte medium
Thimerosal has been linked the permanent brain damage even in small doses.
Tetanus has shown a fatality of about 10% in reported cases.

when u have discovered as many conspiracies (scientific proved) as a person like me you doubt everything

WOW, some of the things I see gymnasts do bf (like sticking a landing------no matter how soft the mat, still!), even make me wonder how THEY do it at all.
Kind of weird that she can't conceive of running bf. Seems a heck of a lot more gentle than what gymnasts do.
