Hi all,

I'm Thai from Bangok. I got my first VFF KSO about 3 years ago (after finished Born to Run) only use for 6 months eventually switch to huaraches and doing more barefoot in 2014, about 2000km, 80-90% barefoot. we have local group that people seem to prefer using facebook. I'm also a part of Bangkok Barefoot Run Club https://www.facebook.com/BangkokBarefootRunClub. May be Bangkok should join IBRD 2015

By the way with about 1.5 years barefoot it seem I still have too much friction when I attempted for PR more friction/rubbing at BOF under 2nd, 3rd metatarsal. which sub forum should I read/ask such information?

Hi Him,

Welcome!

We would love to have your group join us on IBRD.

Here are all the details, including how to register your event on our website.

Welcome! Awesome group of people you got there! Tell all your friends about the BRS! We have lots of helpful and useful resources.

Definitely, the Bangkok Barefoot Run Club should join IBRD. We would love to have Bangkok represented on International Barefoot Running Day.

When you're running, I have found that lifting my feet and not pushing off helps to avoid friction, along with a quick cadence (turn over). Feel free to post in the Barefoot & Minimalist Running forum.

Hi and welcome!

I think most of the membership is north hemispheric and hibernating these days.

Activity levels will pick up soon as the sun starts coming back a little stronger here.

Run well!
