High heels and their effects on men

I wonder what the results would be with a woman in bare feet?

I'd like to see the study repeated comparing closed flats, flip flops, and bare feet.
My assumption in the published study is that the men (especially in the bar scenario)
considered the high heeled plants more likely to react positively to their advances.

You beat me to it Paul, but yes, bare feet vs heels would be a real test.

Haha, well done Board. You just completely blew the findings of the four studies in one sentence!

Yes, I've heard at least one woman refer to her heels as her "f*ck-me" shoes, so it's hardly a neutral signal whose interpretation is determined by the male. It's a culturally learned mating behavior for both sexes. The signaling, and not the specific signal, may be what gets the male hot and bothered most. Evolutionary biology arguments are intriguing, but they tend to be ad hoc.

Yah, following the evolutionary biology argument, presumably robust bare feet, like long legs (which are actually a deceptive signal when achieved by heels), would also signal good health and thus promising fertility.
