From Michael Sandler:

Hi Folks!

A few years back, Jessica Lee, founded the Barefoot Running Club in Boulder, Colorado. At the first clinic at the local Boulder Park there were 10 people, then 10 more, and soon it grew to be the largest barefoot running club in the nation, if not the world.

Out of it grew Runbare, our best-selling books, a world tour, 3 US tours, and now Mindful Running.
Most importantly, out of it grew some of our closest friendships.

The early adopters to the Barefoot Running Club were true pioneers, both in learning barefoot running, and then teaching it to others as well. We have grown together, whether near or far, with lifelong friendships that grew out of those humble days in the park.

We’re now starting Mindful Running and we just released the Mindful Running Program, it’s really just an extension of barefoot running, or natural running, with a lot more emphasis on the inner or mindful journey.

But it’s a logical extension, or something that just naturally happens when you go barefoot or begin to feel the ground. The mind quiets, you focus on your footsteps and your breath, and you naturally begin to let thought go.

Jessica and I just took this natural experience, and through downloads, meditation, and a few serious accidents, discovered how much of a life-changing (and game-changing) experience mindful running can be.

We’ve long said running barefoot is running awarefoot. When you feel the ground you can’t help but be drawn to the present moment. Barefoot, you can’t help but focus on where you’re going, and what’s in front of you, and almost nothing else. That’s being awarefoot, and it’s being MINDFUL.

It’s out of being awarefoot, that our entire discovery into mindful running began.

We hope you’ll join us on this new journey too. Right now is a special opportunity. It’s the first time we’re offering this program, so in essence, it’s like our first humble clinic all over again.

By being first to be part of this new movement its a great chance to get the most one-on-one time with us, online, and through our live webinars…to ask all of your questions (with small groups we can answer directly), and to grow with us.

Barefoot Running took off on us. First it was 10 people at the local park, then 10 more, then more than a hundred in central park in NYC, more than 500 at a mall in Manilla, then two best-selling books, and journeys around the world.

We can see the wave of excitement with the new Mindful Running movement and after we share the concepts and techniques, there's that moment where it all clicks for someone and they get it at a deep level. And you can be a part of it now, be one of the first, a pioneer, and really, our new best friends in this exciting new endeavor!

You’ll get to grow with us, be changed by this very special program, and who knows, you may even want to go on to coach mindful running yourself in the future.

So come grow with us. Join us for this special program we are going to get started soon. We have put so much of our hearts and souls into it…over 100 videos alone, we can’t even begin to tell you how many hours that took! But it was a labor of love, and we want to share that love with you!

Mindful Running has the potential to do far more than make great runners. It has the potential to help anyone be more present, more thoughtful, and overall, resonate at a higher level in all areas of their life.

And by joining, learning, and sharing what you learn, you can help make a huge difference as well!

Big love,

Michael Sandler

p.s. The program is a 6-week deep dive with online video training and coaching sessions into all aspects of Mindful Running including form, breathing, high performance, training methods, and meditation...it's how you can get inspired to take your running (and mind) to a higher level and end the year strong. I know mindfulness sells well, but I thought that the meditative state runner's sometimes achieve was the opposite of mindfulness. I agree that running bare is running aware though.

Yah, I prefer mindless running over mindful running. At the end of a good run, running in that 'zone,' I barely remember where I've just been.

I admire Sandler's opportunistic entrepreneurial huckersterism drive though. Long live the online guru!

For four easy payments of $19.95 I'll gladly teach anyone the secrets of mindless running, secrets that have been revealed to me only after years and years of mindful running. Be a pioneer with the chutzpah of a veteran! I don't have any "best-selling" books, but some of my comments have gotten 'likes.' So don't waste time, join me now for a truly mindless adventure! My say-so is your go-go! I might even video-tape my slow a$$ if you say please.

I don't read that statement that way, Board. I think he is wanting to say what you are saying.
