(Mods please move if there's a better place to put this.)

Just been thinking about us becoming barefoot and began thinking about my children's feet. Their toes are shaped as they've worn school shoes and trainers. We are talking with them about correct walking but we wondered, what do you all do for your children's feet?

Look for wide toe boxes, zero drop and thin soles. Not easy. Vivobarefoot are expensive (and we find smelly.) Primark pumps are good - but unaccepted as school shoes. Aqua shoes are good if you get wide ones. My son wears open toed sandals a lot in Summer

Forgot to say the obvious one. Clarks. We always get his school shoes there. He has wide feet anyway and we want to keep them that way

At first thought, the Health forum made sense, but then if we want others to see recommendations on footwear for children, I figured the Gear & Footwear forum would be best.
