I thought of this one while in the shower after a 13 miler this morning. Base your answer on your own personal experience.
You know it's been a good run when . . .

...you ran further than you meant to just because you didn't want to stop!
You don't remember the run, you were in a zone, someplace far away.
...you feel on top of the world after it and nothing or anyone can bring you down.
Here's another one that applied to today's run for me.
. . . you start the run feeling a little "UGH" and finish it feeling, "AHHHH!"

...you feel almost like you are floating -
You did not meet any strangers shouting "Hey, you forgot your shoes!" at you.
...you cannot wipe the smile off of your face

My dog does the same when we do more than one lap of the field. Lol.
