I was looking through the men's shirts on the BRS store and was wondering if anyone knew how they fit - do the sizes run small, large, etc?

I've found some company's Larges are closer to other company's Mediums, etc and would like to make sure I get the right size for me :)

I have not heard of any complaints or returns from our members about their size, so they must come true to size.

In fact, we only ever had one person who disliked Zazzle and never a complaint about them since that one person.

Anyone else have any comments?

One thing you can check is the reviews. When you look at a particular shirt they will usually have customer reviews and fit is part of that, plus whatever someone may write in the comments. I have a couple shirts and as I recall they fit about as expected. I'd have to double check to be sure, I havent worn them in a while.

I was curious as the one shirt I was looking at (Men's Tech-dual logo shirt) shows a few reviews of it running large (the rest claim true to size), but the sizing goes M 40-42 and L 44-46.

I checked yesterday and I'm right in at a 43, which is borderline for their M or L shirt.

I figured I'd ask people's experience with these so I could get the order right the first time (and because I don't fully trust most on-line reviews...) :)

That's tricky. If I recall, please check, I think they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you like it loose, then I would get the Large. Otherwise, since this is tech fabric, it shouldn't shrink, so you should be good with a Medium.

Ok, got the shirt. Ordered a Medium, as I figured if it runs a little large, it'd just fit a little loose. I was wrong - It fit more like an Extra Large instead!

I've contacted Zazzle about an exchange for a Small and am just waiting to hear back, so we'll see how this part of the process goes.

As for the shirt itself, it still has the tags on it as I've only tried it on for fit. It feels like a good quality shirt and the printing looks excellent. I'm looking forward to one that actually fits! :)

Mine looks good quality too. Even the print, but yes, I do feel my small runs a bit large for my tastes. Keep in mind though that the t-shirt you ordered is really a t-shirt and is not "fitted" like a sport shirt or something despite the fabric being breathable and good quality.

Sorry I couldn't help you out earlier.

Josh16, I figured "a bit large" would mean about a half-size difference, which would have been fine and why I ordered a Medium. I have several t-shirts in Large, and even the most generously cut Large isn't this big. I wouldn't have figured someone who wears a 42-44 coat (depending on cut) would need to order a Small... o_O

On the up side - I've already heard back from Zazzle, and they are printing up the new shirt in a Small. With a little luck, I should see it in about a week. Other than the sizing issue, I think the quality, price and customer service is excellent so far.

Did you take measurements? You might find that you have a 42-44 coat but that your measurements maybe different. It's always nice to get a proper size chart with measurements, but even those sometimes can fail you.

Sizing of clothing, like shoes, is not standardized. I can wear pants that are from size 6 to size 12, according to the label sewn inside.

Also, what type of fabric did you get. If it's 100% cotton, it could shrink.

Regardless, are you allowed to keep the original shirt, or are they having you send it back? If you are keeping it, perhaps someone here at the BRS could take it off your hands, if they pay shipping, or you could give it to a barefoot-friendly loved one or a friend.

Josh, yes. I had my wife grab her tape measure just to make sure, then compared that to the sizing chart for this shirt :)

TJ, that was what prompted my initial post about the fit and is the main reason why I rarely buy clothing I can't try on first. I figured I'd go ahead and order one as a BRS shirt supports/promotes this site, it would help increase public awareness and acceptance of barefoot running and I'd get a cool looking shirt to go running in (a "win, win, win"?).

It's the Men's Tech with the dual logo shirt - 100% synthetic, so no real chance of shrinkage.

Surprisingly, they instructed me to keep the shirt instead of returning it. I'll figure out what I'll do about it once the other one arrives and I can compare the fit (could be the Small is too small..?).

That's why I got mine too! I was hoping it would show people I'm not just some weird loner and that there is a massive amount of us and that some people might actually look up the site and read about it for themselves.

Ky, that's what I love about Zazzle. They have a 100% guarantee, and they normally let the person keep the original product, without charging you shipping on a second product. Let us know how this second shirt goes. And thanks for your support!

You too, Josh!
