Hi from Delft (The Netherlands)

Hello barefooters.
After 25 yrs of running in shoes, I started running barefoot 15 months ago.
I made the usual mistakes: too much, too soon.
I ran into some injuries: achilles tendons and a metatarsal stressfracture (very painful, please avoid this).
I'm making a fresh start now my injuries have healed, taking it very slow and relaxed.
When you're in Delft, don't hesitate to contact me for a nice barefoot-jog.

Welcome!

Welcome to the crew, Hans. I also followed the path of the metarasal stress fracture due to TMTS, then started over. I've been BF (and sometimes minimal) running successfully now for about 4 years and thoroughly enjoying it. Glad to have you with us.
Thanks Phil, my restart is going very well. I'm glad I didn't give up on barefootrunning.
Last week I ran 10 km. BF.
And this morning I ran my fastest 5 km in years: just below 25 minutes.
Now I'll turn down the pace again and take it easy :)
