I've searched and searched but can't find the bystander reaction photo thread. Got a good one for free from yesterday's local Run Walk BOOM! 5K.
The lady with the white shorts looks like she doesn't know what to think!
According to the on-line supplier that sold it to me a do-rag is more shear, has a longer tail, and is purposed-designed to protect the 'do.
And since I no longer have hair nor style up there it can't possibly be one.
Because a bandana starts out square and must be folded and tied that's ruled out as well.
Guess the seller's descriptor "Biker's Skull Cap" will have to do for now.
Both of our sons still say their Dad's wearing a do-rag though.
Not bad for under $3.00. ('cause I splurged for a dozen assorted)
Note the Columbia hat in the barefoot pedals thread. It's become my daily standard, and I still block the nose, face, ears, and forehead several times a day. If only I could get myself expand that protection to the rest of me I'd sleep easier. I've also bumped up the full derm check to every six months. I really should wean myself off unprotected sun but it just feels so good!
