Here is a video I found of me running barefoot during a race two weeks ago.
This excerpt is about 1.5 miles into the race and it looks like I'm using a forefoot strike with my left leg, but I'm almost heel striking with my right foot. Or at least my right leg is extended pretty much ahead of the center of gravity. Any wise interpretation or suggestion?

It's really hard to diagnose / deconstruct a gait from this kind of general use video. Having gotten that on the record, I'd say that you look not bad, and you're certainly not heel striking.

How does your gait work for you? Do you feel smooth and strong? How did you feel after a harder sort of run like the race in the video. If you finish with a satisfying performance and don't leave any of your plantar skin on the course, and more important, don't have aches and pains the following day - you might not want to "fix" anything. (It ain't broke!)

Mon deux centimes worth.

It's very hard to say with the angle, but it almost appears that you are maybe reaching forward some with the right foot and leg. So you just might want to concentrate on a feeling like the right foot should be landing under your center of gravity. Actually, it's always going to be a little in front of that, but it's a good cue for runners to imagine their feet landing directly underneath them.

Thanks for the input (and the deux centimes ;)).
Actually a french guy sent me both screenshots below.
As you say Scratch, it looks like my right leg is extended and the right foot touching the ground too far ahead.
Ok, it's difficult to consider one screenshot from an eight-second video as a general rule, but to answer your question JosephTree, I do feel some pain in the calf muscles after most runs. Always on the right leg, never the left one.
I'm now trying to 1) concentrate on my right foot when I run, and 2) breathe on a different tempo. Instead of always starting inspirations and expirations on a left foot strike, I'm trying to alternate.
Inspire (left/right), expire (left/right)
has become
Inspire (left/right), expire (left/right/left), inspire (right/left), expire (right/left/right)
It still takes some thinking to get it right, but it should eventually become a reflex action.
