This review is long overdue but here it is. I won the sandals and then I got so many issues with my feet so I've waited to get started using the sandals. I've walked around in them at home but that's it, until some weeks ago where I started running a bit in them outside.

About ordering them: I must say, the way you print out the different designs and then step on them to find out which one fits your feet best is genius. Then I like the colors you can choose :)
Overall ordering them and getting them was a good experience.

Then using them: Walking around at home in them is perfect. But taking a walk is another thing. I don't like walking in a faster pace in them. The band between my toes bother me a bit. Then running is much better. Even though after a while that band there seems to bother me again. I like that it feels better to run than to walk in them. That surprised me. I've tried loosen them, tighten them (btw the way you adjust works really well) but it didn't really help with the band between the toes issue. I guess it's a thing you get used to and that I'm just not used to it yet.

I really like that your feet are so bare and it feels very minimalistic.
I also really like the look.

When I first tried the in-between the toes type of sandals, I couldn't tolerate them, as my feet were squished from wearing shoes. So, I wore sandals with straps over the toes. After a few years, my feet spread out more, and the over the toe straps were too uncomfortable. It took about 2-3 months to adjust, and now I love my in-between the toes type sandals!

Sometimes you never fully adjust though either. I still have some of the same pains I did when I first started wearing the between the toe types, just I can run a bit further than I used to before it becomes really debilitating now. And that's after several years now, and with them being my everyday walk about shoes too. There's a reason I'm hell bent on making some sort of footwear that doesn't hurt my feet.

I concur with Kolbe and Nick. I can't get used to my Wokova Feathers either. I don't like the bit between my toes, but worse I can't get them to stay put! They either slide forwards and my heels hang over or backwards and my toes hang over, or one each way on each foot. I'm forever readjusting them. It must be the tensioning of the straps but I still haven't managed to crack the right method yet

I get my foot right in them and I've figured a fairly good method, but after a period of time my pointer toes start going numb, tingling, and then later searing pain that feels like broken toes. This for me is only running, as walking seems to be fine, even all day. I guess I just thought I was odd with this.

Yah, I won some in a contest here, but I could never get the adjustment right. I really wanted to like them. My Lunas, which are just a standardized size, fit perfectly, but the sole is thicker. Since I mainly use them as store shoes in the summer, groundfeel isn't that important. Anyway, good to hear others have had trouble adjusting the Wokova Feathers, I thought I was a sandal clutz.

Sometimes, I get curious and wonder if I should sign up for these giveaways, but I really love my 2mm homemade sandals. I mean c'mon, how could anything be better than 2mm?

Hey Sid...I want to have a pair of sandals as a backup for hot pavement...have you ever made a DIY thread on how you made your sandals, and what materials you used?

2 mm sounds pretty good...I want the maximum propriaseption with minimum thickness needed to shield the heat of hot pavement.

I'm in love with the new wokova feathers. The straps on my old ones finally wore out after many many miles as walking and running shoes.
These were great right out of the bag.
I had some toe rubbing issues when I first started wearing my old ones. Maybe it's like Sid said, toe separation. Maybe the redesign just works with my foot geometry.
These are not giving me any issues.
They are also loose but secure enough for walking for me, but I do walk a little differently in them than usual sneakers.
I have found that with the feathers, I like them a bit looser than, say, the Xeroes.
No flop for running. Actually, I never quite understood the slappy issue except when I first got the Xeroes a couple of years ago and didn't trim down the excess at the toe.
That said, sandals are SO individual. What works for one person/foot is an awful blister fest for another. That's how barefooters get obsessed with shoes! :D

They're too narrow for my big feet. :D Any pressure on my bunions is quite unpleasant.

Yep, me too. Any toe covering, bunion restricting (even just touching) seems to alter my form and give me trouble.
Also, sweaty feet. Toe covering shoe means the sweaty feet ferment up in there.
