Yesterday was the 2nd annual Hope Glows 5k glow run here in our home town. Missed this run last year so my wife and I made it a point to prepare for it this year. We ordered some cool shutter shades from Amazon and I also came across a neat light up sound activated graphic equalizer T shirt with a foot print in the center which I thought would be cool to wear since I intended on going barefoot.
Besides wearing our shutter shades and some glow sticks I decided that I would paint a nifty design pattern on each foot since I would be barefoot on this glow run/walk. This race was held on the trail that I run regularly therefore I knew there would not be an issue of stepping on something in the dark. (except maybe a dog pile
)
Three hours before the race I made a last minute decision to not go barefoot but to wear a pair of Merrell Barefoot Vapor Gloves instead due to a splitting headache. Because of the headache I just didn't feel like taking the time to paint me feet. My wife and I still attended the race and we had a good time. Was wondering if anyone here has participated in a glow run barefoot or has decorated their feet with and glow paint, etc, or maybe had some pictures to share. Here is a photo of us after the glow run with the shades and the foot print T shirt.
