They do have practice runs before. My friends last year said it was really difficult. I'm not that good BF on trails yet. Best of luck, let me know how it goes.

HI Parker, nice too see someone else from western NY. I am just west of Rochester. I was In your area last September, I ran the Erie Presque Isle Half Marathon. I started in minimal shoes and then took them off and ran BF. I checked out your web site, very nice. It looks like we are about the same age. If you are going to be in the Rochester area, drop me a note. We could do a run. Pete

  You're doing Sehgahunda? Wow not BF I hope. I think it's over 26 miles. Good luck, I would consider the relay, but I'm not up to a marathon on trails. Let us know how you do.

  Nope, didn't know there was an organized race. I was just going out for a weekend stroll. Portageville to the Mt Morris dam is supposed to be 24 miles. I might have it wrong, but if I can go 24, what's a couple more?

  I see they have some out and backs to make up the 26 miles. Looks interesting but no thanks. I hope they don't mess the trail up with their practice runs. And, yes, I plan on covering it barefoot.
