Did the 1st leg of the Gauteng Winter Trail series this morning.
Ran in vff KSO's. The trail was very rocky in parts with lots of sharp stones and lots of loose stones. I
think the trail would be a real killer for barefoot!!!
I enjoyed the run. The only complaint I have got (and it is small), two many entrants for the size of the
trail. There was some serious bottle necking in parts where everyone was forced to walk, although this gives
you time to see the scenery and for me it doesn't make much of a difference as I am not running to win or
even for time!!
There are also excellent Adidas Tech shirts available now and they do look awesome, Adidas has come aboad as
a sponser for the series.
Over all a great race and I see that the series has grown in popularity. So if you wan to run in the next 3
races get there early and of course pre-register!!
