Last month I completed my first Half ever. My goal was to beat 2:30 and I crushed it, 2:18:45 chip time. I was pretty darn happy! So happy I went and got my new tattoo a couple days later. Anyway, I haven't really had time to start transitioning to barefoot I was finding (as warned by so many here) that switching back and forth wasn't good for my training. I have a 16.2 race in a couple weeks, and then a 14mile trail run at teh end of May. That's it for scheduled races for a while so I am hoping to use the time after to work on my barefoot running.
