Barefoot Venice Beach/Boardwalk Run

Except for 12+ mile baptism-by-fire barefoot run a few weeks ago, this was my longest BF run. It was great. On the first leg I ran the sand at waters edge from the Venice Pier to the Santa Monica Pier only taking one brief walk. I notice a handful of other BF beach runners. Near the SM Pier I stopped and did a quick outdoor workout (pullups, chinups, dips, abs) and ran back barefoot along the concrete walkway and down the asphalt Venice Boardwalk back to the Venice Pier. It was a trip and fun. I didn't stop once as I weaved in and out of the growing crowds enjoying the beautiful, clear beach day. I didn't see one barefoot runner or walker along the boardwalk.

My post-run soles are bit sore but nothing considering how they've sored in the past.
